The support staff in schools, including ‘mamas’ (Mr. clean) and 'maushis', have become all the more important as they are being trained and equipped well to meet essential safety and cleanliness measures in and around the campus. 

Students of all ages require secure learning environment for their better education and development. Therefore, apart from providing education, Pawar Public school Bhandup, takes responsibility for providing a safe and secure environment to the students and educators.  

There is a direct relation between the hygiene in school and the attendance rate of the pupils. Healthy school sanitation contributes to a positive atmosphere which promotes effective teaching  and learning. 

The support staff and the housekeeping staff have always been a silent pillar and have been working with the ethos that ‘cleanliness is next to godliness’. Life being unpredictable, mishaps are inevitable. What is important is that we are well aware and prepared to handle such situations.

During the regular chore of cleaning the washroom, one of the caregivers (Mr. Clean) experienced a minor incident in the boys' restroom. He accidentally lost his footing and stumbled. He had a head injury and fainted due to heavy blood loss. Immediately the teaching, non-teaching and other housekeeping staff came to the rescue. First aid was given in the school. He was instantaneously taken to the hospital and received the best of the treatment. 

This could happen only because we in Pawar Public School, Bhandup take utmost care of the health of our support staff. Our honourable Principal, Ms. Suma Das stands strong as a pillar to  combat any crisis and motivates the staff to do their best during such emergencies.

Pawar Public school Bhandup, organized a Health Check-up in collaboration with Navkaar Hospital, Bhandup for the  housekeeping staff and security department which reflects our commitment to foster the holistic  well-being of every member within our vibrant community. 

By extending access to comprehensive preventive healthcare services, we empower our  invaluable staff members to take proactive measures towards safeguarding their health and  vitality. This strategic partnership with Navkaar Hospitals epitomizes our unwavering dedication to align with reputable healthcare institutions to ensure the delivery of premium medical care  with utmost professionalism and efficacy. Eye tests, blood pressure and heart rate check were  conducted for the school’s support staff. The resounding success of this Camp highlights the  success achieved through collaborative endeavours, reaffirming our school's steadfast resolve to  cultivate a nurturing and supportive work environment that enriches the lives of all staff  members, thus contributing to the flourishing tapestry of our esteemed school community. 

After the treatment and rest taken as per suggested by doctors, mama is now back to work with full enthusiasm and zeal.
